ACL would like to welcome you to the wonderful city of London. As an International student we would inform you to plan atleast two weeks in advanced of your departure for London. This will allow you the time to find suitably accommodation and become accustomed to the College life style and life in the big city of London.

London is home to many of the best artists and poets down through the centuries. It offers the visitor a magnificent overview of British history and heritage, from its busy streets and waterways to the historical buildings, monuments, and bridges. London is famous for its outstanding museums and galleries, royal palaces, monuments, quaint squares and peaceful green parks. Visitors delight by the excellent shops, and exciting nightlife.
So far as European standards go, London is physically spread out with a number of wonderful focal points. The city's character is found amidst its diverse and easily identifiable sections. Many of these sections started as quaint villages, and today they still inspire visitors with some of their individual identities. London remains distinct thanks to its rich past. Its major buildings and institutions represent some 2000 years in remarkable community history.
Not like other European cities, London appears to be unplanned and even scratched together. This is all part of its appeal. Visiting London resembles stumbling upon a giant-sized board game complete with lots of busy traffic. You might not be too clear on where you have landed but you will be sure to have some fun! The city is so widespread, visitors will make good use of the underground train system. If you want to make better sense of your bearings, grab a city bus. This will afford you the chance to fit the pieces of puzzle together in fine style. London buses are a tour unto themselves!
